Anthony Minghella

Anthony Minghella murió a mediados de mes. Él es el director de una de mis películas favoritas de todos los tiempos: El Paciente Inglés.

Sin embargo, me gustaría escribir una frase de otra de sus películas: The Talende Mr. Ripley. Mientras escuchaba un reportaje sobre su muerte, repitieron esta escena y me impactó muchísimo.

Don't you just take the past and put it in a room in a basement and lock the door and never go in there? That's what I do... and then you meet someone special and all you want to do is to toss them the key but you can't... because it's dark and there's demons... and if anybody saw how ugly it is.
